Artist statement

 

The pure pleasure of creating is the driving force behind my art, along with the belief that Art need not be complicated.  I have always had a strong opinion of this notion, having carried it through my work while studying until present day.

 

Experience

 

                  Art Teacher, The Womens Centre Townsville — 2015 present day

 

Teaching students the different techniques of drawing, painting and mixed media.

Applying for grants and working on exhibitions

 

                Resident artist, weir primary school — 2015 

 

Working with children in using Art as therapy 

 

                Art Teacher, Until we Art again — 2016 present
